Description

I've been wanting to image M22 with my AT72ED. Things did not work out as planned tonight.

I managed to take only 15 light frames before clouds rolled in and covered the sky. However

with that said I did get an image and I'm very pleased with the image. It's probably

my best image of M22 to date. I've always enjoyed viewing M22 through an eyepiece and I

consider M22 a more spectacular globular cluster than M13 the great globular cluster in

Hercules. M22 is located in a super saturated star field and this makes for an interesting image.

I really would have liked to have used a higher iso setting but Sagittarius right now is located in

the heaviest light pollution in my sky. After taking several test shots I decided that iso 800

would be the highest I could use. I never know when to quit talking but with all of that said

please enjoy my first image of M22 using my new AT72ED Refractor.

Description: Can't do any imaging because of the weather. I've been doing a lot of
reprocessing on some of my images trying to improve the image.
